Description
Composition: Sugars, antioxidants, amino acids, egg yolk, cryoprotectant and vehicle.
How to use: After centrifugation, discard the supernatant and add BotuCrio directly to the sperm pellet at a concentration of 200 million sperm per mL. Pack and seal the straws.
For the conventional freezing method, stabilize the straws at 5ºC for 20 minutes.
Then, place the straws in nitrogen vapor (Styrofoam box), 3 to 6 cm above liquid nitrogen level for 20 minutes.
For thawing, the straws must be placed in a water bath at 37ºC for 30 seconds or 46ºC for 20 seconds.
Storage and stability: Store frozen at -20ºC. After thawing, keep it refrigerated at 5ºC for up to 2 days.
